The MMHS strives to inform and educate our members by acting as a resource for exploring various health care professions. Our goal is to act as a liaison and a voice for all students in the McMaster community, who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical or health-related fields.

MMHS events take place a number of times throughout the academic year, and consist primarily of general meetings and discussion groups. General meetings are major society functions, featuring keynote speakers on topics such as admission to specific professional schools, including medical, naturopathic, and chiropractic colleges. Discussion groups, which also occur on a regular basis, are more intimate forums, which allow members to hear presentations and ask questions on topics from overseas volunteering to the daily life of various health professionals. Other events occurring throughout the year have included the mock MCAT, charity fundraisers, and group volunteering excursions.
